Lot description
Fernando António Nogueira Pessoa’s exemption from the Military Service. A handwritten document with the complete description of the young man: “Physical characteristics: 1.55m tall – brown eyes – regular mouth – brown hair – regular nose, oval face. Has been vaccinated. Military quarters in Lisbon, 5 September, 1902.” Notary’s copy signed by Miguel Maria Torquato Pinto, assistant notary, in Lisbon. Sheet of paper handwritten on one side only. Ink on paper with some notes written in blue pencil.
