Lot description
Victor Palla | photograph. Untitled (woman and sculpture), printed in ca.1952. Vintage gelatin silver print. 29.5x36cm. Unique print, never before reproduced, manipulated and printed by the artist. The image combines 2 negatives. The ephemeral sculpture used in the photograph is also by Palla. In 1951/52 Palla hired professional models whom he photographed at home, in the Ajuda district of Lisbon. (See technical information in lot 4.)
