«Intimidade do Chiado», 1949/52. printed in 1992, by Yvon Le Marlec. Stamped “Original Photograph, from original negative”. 51x40.5cm (sheet) Fernando Lemos was born in Lisbon 1926. He worked as a painter, sketching artist, photographer and poet. His later work touches on surrealism. In 1953, he emigrated to Brazil, where he dedicated the greater part of his career the visual arts in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
