Lot description
Mário de Sá Carneiro´s Scrapbook with press cuttings and two pages of handwritten personal notes. Circa 1915. Two document books (22x17cm) “Orpheu 1” and “Orfeu 2”, and one album (composed later by his family) with newspaper cuttings selected by the author. Including several literary annotations handwritten by the poet, titled «Administração auxiliar Orphica». Newspaper cuttings from «O Mundo», «A Capital», «O Intransigente», «O Povo», «A Acção Nacional», «O Jornal», «Alma Nova», «O Primeiro de Janeiro», «El Eco de Santiago», «A Nação», «A República», and others.
